Ok, a few things have happened right off the bat: we saw a slight increase in the Patreon from our original patron, and I got the first art from our artist since the re-launch announcement, and it is groovy, my friends. I decided to make “cards” of the original Patreon pinup to showcase the three main girls, and the first of those is up a tad early because the clock on the site seems to be 7 hours ahead of Pacific timezone. So, enjoy? Next week is Miho, and the week after we should have TWO special updates: Senko and a little Halloween fun with Iroppoi-sensei. Lastly, I have enough funds saved up for November to have at LEAST two comic updates, set two weeks apart. If you wish to update that to a full 4-page order (updating once each Thursday), you know what to do. (no, seriously. Join the Patreon. XD)

Everything is About to Change

Things have been ironed out with our new artist, but he’s no stranger to KND, he’s the original artist, Kuro Neko! We will kick off the new “season” of KND with a sexy new pinup of our trio of heroines and then set about the business of figuring out how to get enough eyes on here to keep paying our artist. We’re hoping to be in this for the long haul, and even at once per week, I think we still have a pretty good story here, plus all the sexiness you can handle.

Another item of note: sorry if your comments got deleted. I was re-arranging the archive of comics and accidentally de-associated the image files with the requisite posts and ended up trashing the first five pages and re-uploading. The reason for this is because I added 4 “lost” pages back to the archive. They were part of Kuro Neko’s run that went a little off-script so he could showcase some new visual ideas. After looking at them more closely, I decided that they DO make good sense and re-included them in the opening chapter. Plus, you get almost TWICE the naked Miho, so, bonus!

Anyway, that’s it for tonight. I’ll keep everyone posted as things progress, as well as a possible address from our esteemed writer/creator, A-1. Until then…

Change in Plans

I love MagniFire’s work, but the more I think about it, the harder it’s going to be to produce the comic at this level. If you check the Patreon, I’ve set the new bar at $55/page. That’s to cover the base $50 I’m offering to prospective artists and Patreon’s fees. Again, A-1 and I don’t make any money unless we vastly exceed that. So please help if you are able. You get some fun bonus materials if you do.

First $1 in, $108 To Go!

All we need is for the pledge total to reach $109, and we can get started. But don’t bid more than you would want to spend 4x per month. For each $1 bid, you’re actually bidding $4 per month. Still pretty affordable, but I don’t want anyone to receive an unreasonable surprise at the beginning of the month. Once we get there, I’ll post early updates on the Patreon to trigger payments, but all additional extras we earn will be here on the site so you don’t get overcharged on Patreon. This is my first time running a “per update” campaign, so there’s going to be some fun with experimentation. Remember: nobody gets billed until we actually update, so don’t panic. Thanks!

We’re Getting There!

Ok, continuing to improve the site. Our series artist has agreed to return to KND, provided we can land his fee. Now to the task of actually acquiring that. It’s $100/page + Patreon fees, so we set the bat at $109 per page. Seems a tad odd, but this is the necessity of our being. Also, you probably noticed this place looks a lot nicer. It’s kinda my “stock” design I’ve been using since Frumph implemented this (now ancient) version of ComicPress, but I like it.
